Line Of Duty Deaths

To All Members, there will be transportation available by the Chief for anyone that wants to go to the funerals for the two Brothers that were killed in action during a house fire in Bridgeport Ct. last week.

  The Chief has given the union 2 vehicles to take our members to and from either one or both of the funerals. Please call H.Q. if you plan to attend.

A sufficient amount of members have expressed an interest in traveling to Bridgeport CT, to honor our fallen brothers who were killed in the line of duty fighting a house fire.  They will be attending two funerals; one at 10:00 AM and one at 2:00 PM both in Bridgeport CT.

The Bus will be leaving the parking lot of Florian Hall, 55 Hallet St., Boston, MA at approximately 6:00AM and returning Friday evening.

See you down there and travel safe.

LOCAL 1297 WOULD LIKE TO ANNOUNCE THE RETIREMENT OF FF MIKE CAGGIANO AND FF CHUCK CORBETT. WE  WISH THEM ALL THE LUCK AND HAPPINESS FOR A LONG AND HEALTHY RETIREMENT. WITH CHUCK CORBETTS' RETIRING THIS WILL BE THE FIRST TIME IN OVER 50 YEARS THAT THERE HASN'T BEEN A CORBETT ON THE DEPARTMENT IN ARLINGTON.
